Alia Construction was established in 1990 by Raymond and Nicole Cheslock.

In the year 2000 they incorporated and named the business after their 2 daughters.

“Ray and his team built our beautiful lake house and the results were better than we could have imagined. We had been through a major home construction/renovation project in Toronto before we built this house, so we had an idea of what to expect. Ray worked with us and our architect and engineer on all of the details of the project for months before the construction started. His input helped us to get it right. Once construction started I was very impressed with Ray's approach to resolving the hundreds of decisions that need to be made along the way. At each point, Ray made the decision based on what was right, not what was cheapest or easiest. In terms of the cost, we exceeded the original budget by around 10 - 15% but that was entirely due to changes that we requested. The end result was a 4,000 + s.f. home that exceeded our expectations, and was built to last for generations to come. Ray and his team are excellent people - I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.”
